My skincare routine alters a lot. I like to try new products all the time and see what works best for my skin. However, like most girls, I do have my essentials that I cannot live without!
Skin type:
Face - Slightly Oily
Body - Sensitive

Firstly, I will mention my face products. In my early teens my face used to be prone to spots. I never knew what to do about them, I'd cleanse, tone, use different spot creams but they were a nightmare. I kept on with my daily skincare routine and accepted it was something that just happened at that age with all the bodily changes. Now if I get them there is no excuse. They are embarrassing, annoying and ugly - I hate them! However, a few months ago I found a spot cream that works absolute miracles.
Superdrug's Tea Tree Spot Stick for only £3.29 is amazing (order
here). It has an applicator attached to the lid, however I tend to open the tube, rub a small amount from the stick on a clean finger and apply the gel to the spot or blemish with my finger. This keeps the stick clean and means germs wont be spread. The worst thing is finding a spot or blemish the night before an event and not being able to get rid of it, but even just applying this overnight or letting it dry in the morning before applying make up it's great. It works fast, smells nice and will not disappoint.

Another skincare essential for me is Avon's Clearskin Blackhead Clearing Daily Astringent for £4 (order
here). As it says, this astringent can be used daily, however as I don't have many blackheads at the moment, I use it twice a week. When applying, I pour a small amount on a cotton wool ball and wipe my face and neck until the cotton balls come out clean. It's best applied after cleansing. This astringent is clear, smells fresh and is really good at getting deep into pores to remove blackheads, giving a smooth and clear look. I have slightly sensitive skin on my face but this doesn't aggravate it at all.

Now, my next product is a definite must for me. I can get very dry and sore lips at times, especially in the cold weather, so Vaseline's Lip Care range is perfect, and only £1.99 at Superdrug (order
here). I keep this on me at all times as it's small and easy to just pop in my bag or pocket. I find it very good at soothing lips and can also be useful for dry skin by just applying a small amount to the dry area. Vaseline have been around since 1859 and are a well known, reputable company. They have changed the packaging since I bought my last one a few months ago, shown on the Superdrug website link above, which shows how long they last considering I use mine every day, and they can be found in a variety of shops.

My next product is another one from Avon. It's the Planet Spa Revitalising Retreat Face Mask which isn't available online anymore. This face mask however isn't like any normal one. Once it is applied, it only needs 1-2 mins before washing it off. I usually apply this in the shower, wash my body while it tries (keeping my face out of the water), then I wash it off. It is perfect when I need a good cleanse but don't have 15-20 mins to put on and wait for my other face masks to dry. I use this 1-2 times a week and I love it. So quick and easy to use and smells lush!

Finally, moving away from the face products is my favourite body lotion. Ralph Lauren's Number 2 Hydrating Body Lotion from The Big Pony Collection is gorgeous! I got this as a present for my 20th birthday in a gift set with the Number 2 EDT. Unfortunately again I couldn't find this in any of the shops online, including the Ralph Lauren website and Boots where it was purchased from, but I imagine that any of their body lotions will be just as good as this one. It is smooth to apply, and soaks in really fast without leaving skin feeling oily or greasy. I love applying this to my arms and legs before a night out, especially because I tend to wear skirts or shorts and crop tops or strappy tops. It makes skin feel so soft and it smells amazing. Again, I have sensitive skin but this is absolute fine for me. I'm gutted I couldn't find it anywhere as I've almost finished this one, however I'm definitely going to try any others that they have for women.
