Quick and Easy Hair Style

When getting ready for a night out, my hair usually takes ages. I like to curl my hair to give it more volume and bounce as it is quite thin and hard to get a full effect.

Last night, I went on a casual night out and didn't want to be getting ready for ages. Instead of my usual routine for curling, I decided I would go for a beachy wave effect. It is quick, easy and looks nice for a casual night or even for the day.

To get this same effect, here
are the steps to take:

1. Separate hair into 2 or 3 sections (if you have thicker hair I would suggest 3, one on either side of the head, and one at the back)

2. Twist the first section of hair, as shown in the picture.

3. Use straighteners and hold them shut at the top of the twisted hair for about 8 seconds.

4. Move down the hair with the straighteners bit by bit until you reach the end of the section.

5. Leave hair to cool whilst still twisted (it should stay in position after heating it up) and do the other sections in the same way.

6. Once hair has cooled, run your fingers through each section, shaking the hair loose.

7. Brush through your hair and you should see the results!

8. Lightly spray with hairspray to make sure it stays.

I often find with my hair that when I curl it, despite my attempts with hairspray and touching it up just before I leave, it still doesn't last that long and the curls soon fall out. With this look however, it lasts all day/night and is so simple!

If you try this look, be sure to tweet me or tag me on Instagram as I love to see your results :)
