For those of you who love Nandos, but cannot justify eating there often, I have the solution.
Nandos flavoured chicken wraps!
I am a lover of good food and enjoy cooking so when I learn something new that works, I like to share it. Me and my boyfriend love Nandos, but being students on a budget, we don't go too often. We decided a while ago to try the Nandos sauce range in the supermarkets and, although it isn't the same when we cook with them, it still always tastes great.
The other day my boyfriend wanted to try wraps to see if he'd like them, and what better to try them with than chicken marinated in Nandos sauce! The wraps turned out to be so delicious, and even he - the fussiest eater ever - enjoyed them and we've had them again since. Result!
Here are the steps to take to create these easy but yummy wraps for yourself:

2) When you are ready to cook, pour a small amount of olive oil (1tbsp) into a pan and heat up on a medium heat - not high - as the chicken needs to cook through. We have our hob on 4/5 out of 9. Place the chicken in the hot pan to start cooking.
3) Whilst the chicken is cooking, prep any salad you wish to add to your wraps - we added lettuce (tore into small pieces), chopped spring onion, grated cheese, Nandos medium sauce (not marinade) and Nandos peri-peri salt.
4) Keep an eye on your chicken, when the majority of the visible edges are white, turn each piece to cook the other side.
5) Heat up your wraps (10 seconds per wrap if cooking in the microwave, adjust time according to microwave power and amount of wraps. Our microwave power is 800w). Check chicken, once it has browned slightly and is soft and white, it is ready. The sauce often crisps in the pan, but that just adds to the flavour!
6) When the chicken is ready and the wraps are warmed, you are ready to prep them.
7) Layer your ingredients in your preferred order - we did lettuce, spring onions, chicken, sauce, peri-peri salt then cheese.
8) Once the ingredients are in, it is time to wrap it up! Repeat for the amount of wraps you are having, and add any sides you want to accompany them.
ENJOY!
