Summer Style

Yes, I have already been thinking about my summer wardrobe. I cannot wait to go shopping for those new sleeveless tops, light jackets/cardigans and sandals. When it comes to fashion, summer is my favourite time of the year, and I'm definitely one of those girls that plans ahead.
I have started planning some outfits using the website 'stylefruits.co.uk'. This allows you to create new outfits and buy products from the site. This is the style that I created:

Personally, I am one who loves the denim shirt and leggings look. I think its practical, comfy and looks great. My aim for the summer is to create my own versions of my created outfits on stylefruits, as some of the items can be rather pricey. Others however are very reasonable. The denim shirt in this picture is on sale at only £13.50 from Promod, which I would definitely pay, however when it comes to my own outfit, I will look for a plain light denim shirt as I think this is more 'me'. The white sleeveless blouse is £14.99 from Missguided, which is very tempting and I am considering purchasing this one.

Black leggings are very easy to find and I already own 2 pairs of long ones, therefore will work with them. The white clutch bag I'm not too keen on however the other bags on stylefruits did not suit this look as well so to get a better idea of the image I was going for, I just added this one, but if you are interested, it is £15.99 from Missguided. I think clutch bags are ideal for nights out however for a casual daytime look, I believe tote bags and shoulder bags are perfect.

Converse can be purchased from many shops and can easily be found online. Now, I have wanted light pink converse since the end of last summer, however when the bad weather started to arrive, I put off purchasing them as I always fear with new shoes that they would get easily ruined. I will definitely purchase a pair in the springtime though.

When it comes to nail varnishes, I probably have most of the colours that are made. Nail varnish is a must for me. I think it can complete a look and really shows the effort made. For this look I would definitely go for a light pink, as it will blend well and complement the outfit. The same goes for lippy! I'd go for a light pink to suit the shoes and the light top. I have only found one lipstick that really works for me so far and lasts, and that is Rimmel London's Kate Moss brand. If you have found the perfect lipstick for you then please comment about it as I'd love to try different brands.

Finally, the accessories. For anyone who knows me, they know I am a lover of good accessories. I think the perfect necklace, bracelet(s), rings etc can really just finish a look off well. For this outfit I would definitely go for either a subtle short necklace that can sit nicely under the collar of the blouse, or like in the picture, a drop necklace. Knowing me, I will probably own enough necklaces by then as I cannot stop buying them, so I'll have plenty of choice :)

If anyone else has done any outfit/fashion blog posts, please send me the link to your blog. I'd love to have a look. My inspiration for fashion always comes from others. I use aspects of different outfits that I see, whether it be on mannequins or other people, add my own personal touch and create a style to suit me.
Thank you for reading, please leave any comments you have.

Much love <3
