Below this post I have added a link to the Flipagram I created to sum up the clothes show in 30 seconds of pictures, and I would recommend having a watch of it. There are a few pieces that really caught my eye on the catwalk. One being this striking, low V-neck, gold dress, with a slit up one side of the skirt and open shoulders:

This stood out to me for the sheer colour of it and the way it sat on the model. It was elegant and just beautiful. Worn with nude heels was, in my eyes, perfect as they kept all the attention on the dress. I can't imagine how much this would set you back to purchase, but it was great to view a dress so lovely.
I also want to share images of some pieces that I thought were rather odd. I know fashion is unpredictable but I would love to delve into a designers mind when they create pieces like these:

I can imagine you'd need a specific event to wear outfits like these. That being said, I can appreciate the idea the fashion can be seen as a form of art, it allows us and the designers to express ourselves.
I very much enjoyed the fashion show, and as a result, me and my sister have decided to go along this year too. I was given a free Clothes Show Live goody bag as we had Platinum tickets - which made the experience more enjoyable. I purchased 3 goody bags of beauty products - makeup, nail varnishes, nail products etc, from Mint, Model's Own and Barry M, and only spent £30. Bargain! In these bags I ended up with 12 new nail varnishes. I decided to model 10 of them at once just to try them out when I returned from Birmingham (as seen in the picture below).

If anyone is deciding whether or not to go this year, I'd say go for it! It's an unforgettable experience and money very well spent.
