Beauty Review - Big and Daring Mascara by AVON

I have recently tested a new mascara that Avon are releasing in campaign 15 for my mother who is an Avon Sales Leader. This mascara is called Big and Daring and I was asked to sample it in black.

Now, usually I would not go for mascaras that have thick brushes as they tend to clump eyelashes together. Although this makes them look thick, it does not give the natural long lash effect that I look for in mascaras. I have small and reasonably fine eyelashes therefore was unsure if this would be suitable for me. 

Big and Daring by Avon however is different to the 'usual' thick brushed mascaras. It increases length, blackens eyelashes nicely, gives a full volume effect whilst preventing that clumped eyelash look. It is easy to apply with a slightly curved brush to fit around the eyelid. I would highly recommend this mascara as it is perfect for a day time casual look, then with a couple of layers built up, it would be ideal for a glamorous night out. I think it is aptly named and would not disappoint.

My Top Tip:
When putting this mascara on, apply the first layer gently with light flicks as this will increase the length. Do one eye at a time so that one can dry whilst you're doing the other. Then go back and apply another layer as you would normally. For evenings, I would personally apply a third layer to build up more volume and length.
